All Travelpasses include a combination of travel by coach, ferry, rail and air.
Here is some information about the transport providers (depending on which Travelpass you
have purchased).
All Travelpasses include travel by coach, using InterCity
Coachlines and Newmans Coach Lines, New Zealand's only national land transport network.
Newmans Coach Lines 
- Premium 5 star quality vehicles
- Large touring coaches
- On-board restroom
- Driver commentary in English
- Recorded multi-lingual commentary is available via headset in Mandarin, Japanese, German
and Spanish on services to Waitomo Caves, Rotorua sightseeing, Mt Cook and Milford Sound
- Air conditioned, panoramic windows
- Overhead stowage for carry-on luggage.

Ferry Interislander or Kings Cruise
All services stop regularly for refreshments and restroom facilities.
2-in-One and 3-in-One Travelpasses include either a Kings Cape Brett
"hole in the rock" cruise in the Bay of Islands or an Interislander
ferry crossing
The Interislander Cook Strait Ferry operates Between Wellington and Picton or vice
versa.

Rail Experience
3-in-One Travelpass includes train travel
Holders of 3-in-One Travelpasses have the choice of one of
the following rail journeys:
- The TranzAlpine daily between Christchurch and Greymouth or vice versa
- The Tranz Coastal daily between Christchurch and Picton or vice versa
- The Overlander daily between Wellington and Auckland or vice versa. (Friday
-Sundays only)
Note: A "rail journey" = a one-way trip. If you wish to book a return
trip (i.e. Christchurch - Greymouth - Christchurch) this = two rail journeys. |
