Day 1. Arrive Christchurch, Exclusive Experiences
You will be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Today you have the opportunity to select an Exclusive Experience and we will include it! Perhaps you would like to explore the city of Christchurch on a bike tour or try punting on the Avon River. You may prefer to join the ‘Must See Four’ tour for an indepth look at this pretty ‘Garden City’, including the International Antarctic Centre, Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, a ride on the Christchurch Tram and a cable car ride on the Christchurch Gondola for spectacular views over Christchurch. There are also a selection of exciting Adventure Options available. Its your choice!

Day 2. Mt Cook, Twizel
Travel across the Canterbury Plains and head for the High Country. Stop at the beautiful glacier-fed lake of Tekapo and view the tiny Church of the Good Shepherd built in 1935 of locally gathered stone and oak. Enter Mt Cook National Park, a World Heritage-listed area and home to Australasia’s highest mountain, Mt Cook at 3763 metres. Perhaps take a scenic flight over this awe-inspiring alpine region (weather permitting, own expense) and land on the mighty Tasman Glacier. Departing Mt Cook, we head to the heart of MacKenzie Country and the township of Twizel.

Day 3. Twizel, Oamaru, Dunedin, Exclusive Experiences
Travel past the hydro-electric azure-coloured lakes of Benmore and Aviemore and through the Waitaki Valley before reaching Oamaru. Renowned for its limestone buildings, Oamaru was once the 7th largest town in New Zealand. Travelling south we stop to view the unusual Moeraki Beach with its 60 million year-old boulders. Arrive in Dunedin and this afternoon you choose the activity and we will include it. Perhaps visit Olveston House or the Otago Peninsula and visit either the Royal Albatross colony or the Yellow-eyed Penguin, the Hoiho. Its your choice!

Day 4. Dunedin, Milford Mariner Overnight, Milford Sound Theme Dinner
Departing Dunedin we travel through the townships of Balclutha and Gore before reaching Te Anau. Continue our drive through the stunning mountain scenery of World Heritage-listed Fiordland National Park. Pass through the scenic Eglington Valley and Homer Tunnel to emerge into magnificent Milford Sound. Cruise past spectacular sheer cliffs and the grandeur of mile-high Mitre Peak, viewing a multitude of waterfalls. Tonight we anchor in the sheltered waters of Harrison’s Cove.

Day 5. Milford Sound, Queenstown Dine About
Following the Remarkables Mountain Range we journey to Queenstown. Tonight enjoy your Dine About dinner where you choose from four enjoyable dining experiences and we will include it!

Day 6. Queenstown Exclusive Experiences
Today you have the opportunity to choose an activity and we will include it! Perhaps take a Double-Decker bus tour around Queenstown, or an exciting jetboat ride. It’s your choice!

Day 7. Queenstown, Franz Josef
Travel along the picturesque shores of Lakes Hawea and Wanaka and on to the rugged West Coast where you may view spectacular Franz Josef Glacier.

Day 8. Franz Josef, Christchurch
Travel north along the west coast to Hokitika, where you will have the opportunity to visit a glass-blowing factory and see beautiful native Pounamu (Jade) jewellery. Drive through Arthurs Pass National Park and the magnificent Southern Alps to Christchurch.
