Bay of Islands - Kauri forest - Cape Reinga tour - Ninety Mile Beach - Bay of Islands cruise
DEPARTS: 8.20am Daily
Reporting time at Sky City Coach Terminal 7.45 am.
Day 1: Auckland - Bay of Islands
North over the Harbour Bridge to
Whangarei and Paihia. The afternoon board the amphibious Paihai Duck for a tour by land
and sea of Paihia, Waitangi and Russell. Stay 2 nights in Paihia.
Day 2: Paihia - Cape Reinga - Paihia
Venture North to Cape Reinga via Puketi Kauri Forest, viewing giant Kauri trees, to where
the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean meet. Zoom along Ninety Mile Beach and try boogie
boarding the huge sand dunes. Try award-winning fish and chips on your return. (own
expense).
Day 3: Cruise - Bay of Islands - Auckland
Take a 1 1/2 hour thrilled ride to the Hole in the Rock and Cathedral Cave aboard the Mack
Attack. Board your waiting coach and travel back to Auckland once more. Arrive in Auckland
at approximately 5.20pm
