Summer fruit and vegies available from a
cottage garden beside the sea in the Whangarei
Harbour. Safe swimming, great fishing with dinghy
available or our local charter boat available for
all day or group fishing or just a Harbour
cruise. Bush walks of nearby Native bush
including Mount Manaia which dominates the
Harbour with its unique castle like peaks. A 1
hour walk will take you to the summit a difficult
track but 360º views. Golfing 15 min a
picturesque 18 hole golf course with spectacular
Harbour views.
For those who want that little extra see the
sights of Northland or local scenery on a
Motorcycle (pillion only) come with either of us
on our touring bikes. (by donation) |

Take the Whangarei Heads Road. We are 23 kms
from the Whangarei Yatch Town basin bridge our
home being two stories opposite the swings in the
middle of Mcleod Bay with the cottage nearby. |
