Head north though Wellsford. Turn off just outside Tehana, sign posted to Mangawhai.
Follow the road through to the heads, go past the golf course then take the first road on
the right (North Ave), down to waters edge (Alamar Cres), fourth bach along (number 27) is

Magical Mangawhai has it all. Ideal for extended families + friends.
1 and a half hours north of Auckland. Flat, safe and secure. Safe swimming and boat ramps
on door step. 7 Min walk to shopping centre, restaurants and Golf Course. Patrolled surf
Club 5 min drive excellent fishing and dining, charter boats available. Both baches are
fully equipped plus barbecue / autowasher and dryer. Also the use of two canoes and a
dinghy. An ideal location for young or older children to have fun or perfect for mum &
dad alone.

We've all had a wonderful time, but I would have to say this has been George's
holiday. It was summed up by his words as I tucked him into bed tonight for his last sleep
before we go home. "Mummy, this has been the most wonderfullest day of my whole
life." Apart from one day, he has been out with is dad exploring the Estuary, fishing
and swimming every day. George's final question was "Mummy, do you think the man who
owns this holidayhome will invite us back one day?" |
