LIVING:

Sleeping Configuration:

One double bed in roof canopy2.10m x 1.26m, and one double bed in rear of cabin 2.10 x 1.22m.

Fridge Freezer:

The fridge operates on 12V whilst driving and on 240V mains when plugged in at a campground. Fridge capacity, 60 litre.

Gas Cooker:

2 ring cooker with griller, ignited by match.

Gas Bottle:

A 9kg gas bottle.The gas bottle is located in the external storage locker on the drivers side of the vehicle. Bottle has an 'ON/OFF' tap on it. Please ensure it is in 'OFF' position when not in use and when driving

Microwave:

The microwave operates from 240V only, so the vehicle must be plugged into mains power at a campground.

Bathroom Facilities:

Hot and cold pressurised water in shower cubicle with separate hand basin and amenity cabinet.

Toilet:

Located in cubicle with shower. Flush toilet waste goes into cassette holding tank, which is accessed, from exterior compartment door.Toilet is full of chemicals on pick-up of vehicle, with a small complimentary supply. Toilet cassette holding tank must be flushed out and empty on drop-off.

Water Heater:

Water heater works on gas and is operated by a switch.Water will be heated after approximately 15 minutes.

Fresh Water Tank:

Capacity is 85 litre/19 gallon.The filler cap is located on the passenger side of the vehicle and marked "WATER" and the filler hose is in the wardrobe.

Grey Water Tank:

Holding tank for grey waste water generated from the shower and kitchen sink. Disposable at all campgrounds and dump sites. Holds 85 litre/19 gallon grey water.Grey water hose is in the driver's side exterior compartment.

Lighting:

Interior lights operate off both 12V batteries and 240V mains supply.

Air-conditioning/Heating:

Driver’s cab air-conditioning/ heating operates whilst driving.The rear cabin heating operates on 240V when plugged in at a campground. Some vehicles do have air-conditioning in rear cabin.

Power Supply:

240V mains and 12V battery.The 240V mains power operates when the exterior power cable is plugged in at a campground.There are two 12V batteries, one for starting the engine, and the other for domestic 12V system.This system operates the water pump and fridge. Batteries are recharged by engine alternator.

Storage:

Ample cupboard space, storage under seats at rear of vehicle and hanging wardrobe.

Skylights:

One in the rear of the living area. Ensure this is closed when driving

Fly Screens:

Placed on all windows in the living area of the vehicle.

Flooring:

Easy to care for linoleum.

Internal Access:

Internal access between driver's cab and living area.

Exterior Access:

Side door with pull out doorstep. Ensure this is pushed in when driving.

Seating Configuration:

Seatbelts for two in the driving cab and seatbelts for two in the living area.

Baby/Booster Seat Fitting:

2 seats can be fitted on rear seats facing forward. Baby/Booster Seats have to be pre-booked, otherwise cannot be guaranteed. Please advise age and weight of child on booking.

Radio/CD:

Speakers in driving cab and living area.

Cigarette Lighter:

12V, which is suitable to charge up video camera batteries.

Fuel:

Diesel only. 68 litre tank/15 gallon.

Fuel Consumption:

Approximately 15 litre per 100km. This may vary subject to the use of air-conditioning, temperature and terrain.

Engine Specifications:

2.2 litre turbo diesel.

Transmission:

manual.

Power Equipment:

Power steering, power assisted brakes.

Tyres:

Tyre pressures should be checked regularly. The recommended pressures are 40psi on front tyres and 65psi on rear tyres.

Spare Tyre:

The spare tyre is located under the rear of the vehicle. External access only.

Tools:

Tool kit is under the passenger foot area.

2007 - 2008 Insurance

Insurance

  • All vehicles are insured for damage to the vehicle and third party property. You are responsible for the first NZ$5,000 (the excess).
  • The NZ$5000 is debited to your credit card when the vehicle is collected and held as your excess. For this reason it is important that your credit card has sufficient funds available so as not to exceed your withdrawal allowance.
  • The Terms and Conditions documents (available for download at bottom of page) contain a summary of some of the rental conditions. For detailed conditions, refer to the rental agreement upon vehicle collection. 


We offer two options to reduce this excess:

  • Excess Reduction Option 1 – NZ$20 per day (maximum charge of NZ$1000)
    The excess is reduced to NZ$2500, which is held as your security deposit. The NZ$2500 is debited to your credit card when the vehicle is collected.
  • Excess Reduction Option 2 – NZ$38 per day (maximum charge of NZ$1900)
    The excess is reduced to Nil. A security deposit of NZ$220 is taken to ensure the vehicle is returned clean with an empty toilet and full of fuel. The NZ$220 is taken as an imprint of your credit card.
    (Excess Reduction Option 2 is included in the Premium Package.)


No Worries Cover Option (PCO2)

The No Worries Cover option is a one off fee of NZ$50 per hire. The No Worries Cover option is only available when Excess Reduction Option 2 has been purchased. Note the No Worries Cover option is included in the Premium Package. The No Worries Cover option extends the cover available with Excess Reduction Option 2 to include cover for accidental damage to the overhead and underbody sections of the Motorhome. Please note overhead and underbody damage cover is excluded unless the No Worries Cover option has been purchased.

The Terms and Conditions documents contain a summary of some of the rental conditions. For detailed conditions, refer to the rental agreement upon vehicle collection.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Motorhome rentals are available from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.
  • Rental basis is per calendar day.
  • Minimum rental period is 5 days. 10 day minimum between 23 December 2007 and 10 January 2008.
  • Minimum rental periods are subject to change during peak periods.
  • All rates and conditions are subject to change as required and without prior notification.

PREMIUM PACKAGE:

If you take the Premium Package of NZ$50 per day (maximum NZ$2,500 per rental), it is payable in addition to the daily rental rate and includes:

  • No Worries Cover (PCO2) - extends cover for accidental damage to include overhead and underbody
  • Diesel Tax Recovery Fee
  • Pre-Purchase Gas (PGO)
  • Picnic table and chairs (per person travelling)
  • Child/Booster Seat if required
